Pythons: A very short story by Jon Comas

Jane looked outside and sighed. There was a large python on the lawn. Jane sighed.

“Jim,” she called. There’s another python.”

“Can’t you get this one?”

“I got the last one.”

“Fine.”

Jane walked back into the living room. Jim went outside and killed the python. “We really should do something about the pythons,” he said.”

“Yeah,” said Jane. “I know. What do you want for dinner?”

“Chicken.”

“We had chicken on Monday.”

“Oh. Yeah. That was pretty good.”

“Thanks.”

“We could order pizza.”

“Okay.”
